Uneven serpentine belt wear

I everyone, I've been lurking here for a while and haven't needed to post. I bought my 4Runner about a year ago and have come across a weird issue that I figured you could help with.

I changed my oil the other day and noticed the serpentine belt was pretty worn, so I replaced it. Today, I looked under the hood and noticed that the new belt was worn pretty much the exact same way. This belt has less than 100 miles on it, which is a little disconcerting. One rib is worn pretty significantly. This is on an 07 V6 with 65k miles on it. I bought it CPO last year and am assuming the old belt was the one from the factory. Thanks again for your help!

check all your pully's for play and debree, check to see if anything is rubbing the belt that shouldnt be if all that checks out you may have bought a bad belt and not noticed at first but I doubt that lol.

Check all your pulleys, there is probably something in the grooves of one of the pulleys.

The two of you nailed it. I was trying to avoid going outside because of the rain we're getting now. I braved it and pulled the belt. Once I pulled it and spun the AC compressor pulley, there was a decent sized pebble wedged into the groove :ybrick: . Now I'm off to find a gatorback, since the one in there was a cheapie. Thanks for the help.
