UPDATE: 4Runner Emergency Response with pic goodness

I'm about 90% done. I'm waffling on the rims. I'm debating on some black rims to complete the look. Here's what's been done so far:
- Dual DVD Players in the headrests (independent or you can share movies) with wireless headphones.
- Remote SmartStart from Direct...Can start it/lock it/check on it with my phone. If I paid an extra fee I could GPS Locate it, not sure I need that.
- Tinted rear windows (not driver/passenger or windshield)
- Full LED Visor across the front with some LED's in the grill
- 4 LED's in the rear deck with 2 additional in the licence plate
- Siren with Air Horn
- UHF/VHF 50 Watt Radios with split mounts (radio chassis under the passenger seat) with an oak bracket going across the middle console. This way I didn't have to screw into the console/etc. It straddles it and then it has a lip that slides into the console.
Left to do:
- Debating on black rims
- Debating on running boards (short wife/kids)

Where did you get the headrest/DVD? I need those for my little one.
Local place. He did the tinting and DVD Players. He's in Galesburg. I have the boxes at home. The DVD Players are independent and you can also share a movie. They are pretty neat as they have different skins, so you can swap them out to another vehicle/etc.

Very nice. Wish they were able to be ordered as is. I really like that setup.

LED EMS lights

And my first post on the forum goes to EmergencyManagement!! In the process of acquiring a T4R. I will need some LEDs for the volunteer FD I will be joining soon. I like the subtle look of the lights. What are you using? Perhaps some shots lit up?

I would like to know about your radio setup as well. SAR guy here and I need to have a raido installed that works in the VHF 155.xxxx range.

Looks like two kenwood TK 7180's with remote heads? Great radio for SAR work. I have one in my other rig and roll with my TK 2180 anytime we explore in the runner.

Can't bring myself to "hard mount" much of anything inside the runner. I have another rig for all those toys.

That's what they are. I can do all of the sirens etc from those radios.
The radios are below the seats I believe.
The heads aren't hard mounted. I built a wooded cradle to straddle the console.

Here it is at night. I have a video. Trying to figure out how to post

Wow you can run "Blue" in IL?

I thought Blue was reserved for LEO. Every state is different tho.... Makes it confusing to say the least.

In OR I couldn't run white or red, Amber only, in CA I've seen white, red & Amber for "rescue" type responders.

I can run Red/White/Blue. It's leased to the County as (I don't get anything for said lease, I literally do this job because it's awesome and the people are awesome) so it's an official vehicle. Our volunteers can run blue only in their POVs
