Update on Husky mats for 2013 T4R

UPDATE: Got my mats last week and my new Trail on Monday. Wanted you guys to know my Weatherbeaters fit like a glove and the new attachment points lined up and function perfectly. I couldn't be happier.

If WeatherTech is reading, give me "a few weeks" and I'll call back and order.

Just wanted to note that their customer service was excellent. My fitment wasn't the greatest, so they sent me a new one. No pictures or return of the defective mat required. The new mat fit perfectly the second time though.

2013 Husky Mat Pic

Must say, pretty impressed, in particular as a long time WeatherTech guy. Fit and finish is very good, like the little water dams around the anchor points, and not as slippery as i had feared. Key to me is good coverage of the dead pedal.

Husky sent the wrong cargo liner, but followed it up with a replacement and a FedEx ticket to return the other one. No quality issues at all, but not quite so sold on that piece. Time will tell. Might just yank the liner, sliding tray, and all. We'll see.

Also, never posted a pic before, so if I f it up, apologies in advance.

Glad to see that they put those little water dams around the anchor points. That was a key reason I went with the Huskies in my 2010 over the WeatherTechs. It looked like water could get by the anchor hooks in the latter liners and make its way to the carpet below.

How does the 2nd row mat fit in your 4Runner? Nice and snug or are there air pockets/gaps? I got on Husky's website a few days ago to buy some, and I got scared off by that 2nd row being all in one huge piece where it comes over the partition between the two seats. I am sure they have done enough homework to make sure it's nice and snug, but I want to make sure before buying. Thanks for any imput.

The one-piece rar was a concern for me also, but after seeing the protection it provides on the center hump, I'm liking it. Past separate mats left the carpeting exposed to water and, here in Siberia, road salt. And that crap is really tough to extract. Downsides i can see are controlling dirt and debris when trying to take the one-piecer out. Having only had them in place for a couple of weeks, havent had the need to test that yet.

Will try to get a photo today sometime.

We got a set of Husky Liners for our 2012 and had to use a Dremel tool to make the retainer clip hole bigger on the driver side retainer closest to the door. Also, the passenger mat didn't come with any drilled holes, even though we have retainer clips there as well (maybe that's normal?). I like the mats, except that they always look like crap with the salt from the roads here. But.. that's what they're for and I would much rather clean those then the carpets. I'm sure they will look much better this summer.

i just purchased husky linear front and 2nd row from autoanything for 143.96. i was loyal weathertech and ran all my cars weathertech for many years not anymore.

I have had my Husky mats for about a year (no complaints at all). Ultimately, the increased coverage of the Husky mats was the deciding factor over the Weathertechs. I couldn't stand the fact that the Weathertechs only covered half of the left foot rest. I also liked how the Husky rear mats go farther under the front seats than the Weathertechs.

Thanks very much for the pictures of the mats, especially in the 2nd row. They look tough and durable. I feel far more confident in purchasing these now.

I'm surprised you don't have a rear cargo liner, though.

I do have the cargo liner, but not totally sold in combination with the sliding tray. It is what is its....a rubbery plastic [yeah, I think I just made that up] tray. Stuff slides a lot more than on the carpeted piece that goes on the sliding tray, but you do gain some containment.
