Well, I was about to pull the trigger on the Dobinson's but I was just informed they are out of stock for the next 6-8 weeks.

My next option is the Camburgs w/ Ball Joints. I have seen a couple details about other options interfering with some tire/wheel combos. Can anyone confirm if the Camburgs going to give me any issues if I'm keeping my stock TRD wheels (not PRO wheels)?

Decided to stick with SPC since I've been running a set on my son's truck for 4 years without any issue. Installed at a friend's shop so we could take time on the alignment.

Anyone seen any problems at 4.2 degrees of caster? Is that too much?

I started to dial it back to 3.8 or 4.0 but decided to run these numbers below and see how if felt.

Caster - (L) 4.2 (R) 4.2
Camber - (L) 0.1 (R) 0.1
Toe - (L) 0.04 (R) 0.04

I have been using the camburgs for about 2.5 years...no problems yet.

I can sell just the arms, and you can use whichever ball joints you want to use, greasable if that's your thing. I guess I didn't point that out properly when I first shared the info about the arms.

We chose a sealed ball joint, as it's one less place for water to get in and cause the joint to wear out early. Literally the same type of joint as the OE.

Very unlikely water will get into the zerk. If it does, as long as you're greasing them like you should be, any tiny bit of water will be pushed out. I will keep the arms in mind, I haven't made a final decision just yet. Too many options out there lol
 
My two cents: buy once, cry once. I can't speak to the many other options mentioned above but I've been very happy with the UCAs I have on my ICON Stage 7 (minus the rear trailing arms) set up. As to the open ball joint question, good PMCS (wash your truck) and a little WD40 every now and then works real well in a desert environment. ICON offers the Delta Joint now which should be even better.
 
My SPC's are giving me 4.0 caster and I love the ''self-centering'' feel. It wants to track straight and is stable over stock.
 
I just went with these, after researching untill my eyeballs fell out.

I placed an order for Camburgs, they're about 3 weeks led time FYI

I'm in the same boat. I'm holding out for the dobinson's.
 
those Budbuilt look great. IMO the Dobinsons are lacking. Severely. DK sells a bushing/ball joint upper for 550 IIRC. And their welds actually look like welds...not bubblegum.

The business is simply a chines import warehouse. So basically they're no name Chinese imports. That doesn't mean they're bad. But I'd be curious to see if they have a business license, insurance, etc.

Also in response to a question regarding what ball joint they use, the response is "They are our own ball joints. We have yet to have anyone wear one out under normal usage. Thanks!" - which means "We don't have a f'ing clue what parts are in there, we ship you whatever the Chinese factory ships us."

My suggestion is to simply make a phone call to the phone number and ask a support question. Like "my ball joint needs to be replaced, can I order one?" That's becoming my policy on chinese parts that cost more than about $100. If I can't get an answer on the phone from a real person, I can't ever expect to get any service down the road.
