Just one question. I installed it without disconnecting battery. is it recommended to do that to reset the ecu learning curve?
I got my URD MAF Calibrator in and installed over the weekend.
How do you like the MAF Calibrator so far?

It's been great, it levels out the shifts and has made a noticeable improvement in acceleration. The truck actually knows what it's doing between 2500 and 4500 RPM now. I've also gained 1 MPG even cranking my AC since it's been in the 90's here the last 2 weeks

Thank you for the reply and appreciate the info. Been on the fence about getting one. Seems like a worth while upgrade. Just out of curiosity, I see in your sig you have the Borla Touring exhaust, I do too. Does Gadget have a preload map that for that with intake as well? I have the TRD intake and see he has a map for that. I planned on reaching out to him about it, just curious if you inquired about intake/exhaust combo map.

I listed the TB spacer and Borla exhaust on my mods list when I ordered, it doesn't appear that the cat-back makes a difference since he's just mapping the intake air and ignition spark/fuel ratio. I don't think the exhaust factors in.

I even added the Y with my TRD cai tube, Gadget said use the trd tune, should be fine. You can always do a custom tune as well with his U tune program, Steve he can provide his download link. He recommends seat of the pants dyno and not a true dyno at the shop. Call him and he will explain why.
I have one showing up today. I have seen it plugged into cylinders 1 and 2. 1 has much better access. Does it matter?

The directions say to plug it into the middle cylinder which I believe is 2, pretty sure it matters
Crowd source?Just ordered based on the feedback here. Now we wait.
I'm about out of break in (700 miles) and have a Borla Touring exhaust and TRD CAI in boxes at home waiting for me.
Getting new, lighter tires installed on Tuesday so I'm waiting for that before doing a baseline dyno.
My plan after that was:
Round 1: Stock
Round 2: TRD Intake
Round 3: TRD Intake + Borla Touring Exhaust
... now I'm torn on adding the URD MAF Sensor to Round 3 or doing a 4th round with it. These runs are $75/each, so, not cheap.
Also just thinking about doing one stock run and another with all this stuff installed to save myself $75-150.
