URD Spec-U Exhaust

So far 1+ but I am driving it with a heavier foot since I have installed it. I won't really know till I road trip it but it has gone up around town.

The URD competition Y is mandrel bent 2 1/4". This truck is not my daily driver but I have already seen an improvement in gas mileage but cant say I am surprised to say the least..

Thanks for posting the pics. The competition y pipe is also a beautiful piece.
 
I'm curious as to how much louder this Y pipe makes the overall exhaust. I'd imagine the rear cats quiet the exhaust quite a bit, right? I was considering running a Borla catback, but I'm not overly keen on it becoming irritating in the cabin on long drives... That is if the Borla could even bolt up to this Y-pipe.
 
Hardly noticeable . Very slight rumble under your feet , now just add a muffler don't need rest of that stuff . Love my flowmaster 70ii , almost same size as oem just fits better & sounds good too not ricey like the smaller canisters .

The quality will not be any better off my camera phone. The closest one is probably the 2012 double cab N/A, (link below). The rest of the vids are with the URD supercharger. Put on some headphones and listen to it carefully after he punches it and starts cruising speed. Loud and deep at WOT. Quiet at cruising... Which is exactly what I'm looking for.

Guess I'm the only one in this thread that tried to bash my cross over pipe flatter with a 5lb sledge, for better clearance with my skid plates :smash:
I'd also give up 50HP at 5500rpm at WOT for 20 ft/lb at 2400rpm.

This works as well and doesn't make as much of a racket but not nearly as fun:smash: ....

I saw all URD videos but still would be great to ear a 4runner." Loud and deep at WOT - Quiet at cruising " I hope it's that. It's best of both world.
 
Good news is the exhaust arrived today. Bad news is dyno is booked for awhile. Will install this tomorrow or this weekend.
