Using a PAC TATO with a 6 volt deck.

Hey guys, thanks for the awesome forum.

Im upgrading my HU. I read that some people had issues with 2 volt out puts. The installation guide says to use a 4 volt. The unit I chose is a 6. Im worried about it being too loud and clipping.

The guide for the TATO says to put the toggles at +7dbs and work your way down. Should I just start at flat instead and work my way up.

Anyone done this? What did you set yours at?

Also, I can hook the brake line sensor to the ACC line, correct? Im not planning on using the dvd much anyways. There is also a green line for reverse...If Im not setting up a rear camera I can just leave this alone right?

Thanks so much.

The answer in case anyone find this in the future is, no. Just use the first three toggles down for +7dbs. I still dont thinks it loud enough but clips at high volume.

I see why so many people just scrap the factory amp and get a new one. Not really worth trying to fit all the crap behind the dash for this. But does sound way better!

Also, the brake line sensor is just a ground. I just put it on the metal screw that holds the deck Installation Kit into place.
