Using Bully Dog GT for engine monitoring?

Has anyone here used a Bully Dog GT tuner on their 5th gen T4R? I know we cannot do any engine tuning, but the BDGT is great for engine monitoring (i.e. water temp, tranny temp, load, timing, etc). I'm just wondering what info, if any, would the BDGT pick up and display on a 2016? I'm not looking to buy one as I have one from my Titan that I'm trading in, so this would be a free mod. I figured this would be nicer than a ScanGuage.

I'm not seeing online that the Bully Dog can get transmission temp, which would make the ScanGauge much more useful. Can it do transmission temp?

That is the problem...Bully Dog doesn't list the 4runner at all. I know my titan I could get all the info I wanted, however, their ECU was pretty open. From what I have read, the Toyota's are a bit more locked down. I was hoping someone has had experience with using a BDGT. I emailed Bully Dog, but haven't heard anything back from them. I cant try it myself as I wont get my TEP till February.

I have a buddy that had one in his Cummins, he sold the Cummins then our other buddy used the same one in his 06 Tacoma for a few days until it was sold. I don't remember exactly what all was able to show up on it, but we had to manually enter the vehicle info and vin into the unit because there was nothing for Toyota in the drop down
