Uwharrie National Forest - 5/5/18 (NC)

Not sure I would even be able to post this seeing as how new I am but the wife and I are planning a trip to Uwharrie for May 5th this year to test out the new 4Runner.

*pushing it back a couple weeks as it was pointed out how crowded it would be opening day*

Wanted to see if anyone else local to Uwharrie (North Carolina) was around to join along?

We have a 2018 TRD ORP which we’ve not wheeled in so we have no winch or lift or anything like that, just looking to ride some trails and get the suspension working a bit. I have experience wheeling a while ago just not in this one so we won’t be tackling anything too crazy there.

Anyone around feel like joining?

Good point, I wasn’t even thinking about how crowded it would be onnopening day! I’ll edit the title and push it back a couple weeks.

I did request to join that group as well, looks like some awesome rigs there too! Thanks for the tip!

I don't do facebook and have never done any off-roading but I really want to get into overlanding

a day or weekend trip like this with some more experienced and knowledgeable guys would be awesome

I am in Columbia, SC and don't think uwharrie is terribly far
