No flames or judgements, this a very refreshing thread where people are sharing their experiences. Thanks. I will not be able to join you this year but wish you well. You would all be a fun group with which to ride.
 
I'm going to Uwharrie this weekend 22-24th April. Ill be getting there Saturday late afternoon/night. I plan on getting there before it gets dark and hitting a few trails, setting up camp with SEFJ at the training center (if you want to camp with them I suggest you add them on FB and post in the event for this weekend that's asking for a head count. They have to let the training center know as they have asked/given promission to camp on the property. Then I plan on waking up, and hitting a few more trails on sunday before heading back home around lunch.

That was a fast response, I was getting ready to text you. Yes I plan on meeting you Sunday morning at the training center/outpost before I start the riding for the day
 
Have fun, wish I could join. Flying home Friday and been gone the last three weekends. Need a weekend to catch up on life and oh yeah do some maintenance/new parts install on the 4Runner

Nice to see all the local people with same interest.I used to ride dirt bikes here in mid 90s. I remember seeing jeeps that had slid off the trails and stuck in the valley. After a good rain red mud gets really slick. Anyways my Boss lady (wife) and I just bought a new SR5. I'm looking forward to building and offroading.Right now its completely stock. Thinking of putting 3/2 spacers on it to fit better tires.Can't find much info on setup but price is decent.Info would be appreciated. As for Uwharrie. It is awesome,we love the fishing at Bad in.There will be many future weekends spent there in future..Watch for those crazy dirtbikers.

Yeah you kind want to steer clear of uwharrie after a good rain. I went once while it was raining, had to get pulled DOWN hill because a got stuck, clay sucks. Spacers are pretty easy to install, there is plenty of write ups on it.

Oh and im one of those crazy dirt bikers every now and then ;-)
 
I'll be out there with the SEFJ crew Friday night through Sunday morning. Hopefully we can get a few 4Runners out there!
 
I am planning a meet at Uwharrie on June 18th and 19th for anyone who is interested in meeting and doing a little wheeling. I have a few guys going already, let me know if you are interested pm me for any questions.

I would love to go but I'll be headed to Richland Rd 2 weeks before. Not sure I can get out that soon after with having an infant, but I'll test the waters with the boss-lady tonight.

No problem man just let me know. I've already gotten a bunch of guys who are interested, I'm hoping for a decent turnout.

Hey guys, I was thinking about driving down on 6/12 since the brother in law is in town with his jeep. Anyone planning on being there then?
