V6 on V8 or vise versa complete exhaust system

I found a really good deal on a complete 2004 V6 exhaust system that was taken out since the truck was new.. I did some research and looks like aftermarket performance exhaust are the same on v6 and v8.. Can anyone verify they the same? Thanks!

For the most part, this is definitely true. I have done quite a bit of research on the subject as well. If your research rings solid, I would say you are good.

If I were to guess, I would say no. The exhaust isn't even the same between '03-'04 V8s and '05-'09 V8s. I don't know for sure which is why I say it's a guess.
