This is info on a V8:
Vehicle: 2003 V8 SR5 with 170,000 on a tired and worn suspension. Shocks were not blown, springs seems saggy, had horrible rake that i hated.
Not much info out there on the V8 with the following done:
FJ Cruiser Coils front and rear (13k)
Tacoma Bilstein HDs fronts (20 miles)
FJ Cruiser Bilstein HDs rear (new, had matching tacoma ones but they too short and hole too small)
Daystar 2.5/1.5 spacer lift
BFGoodrich All-Terrain TA KOs 285/65/18 = 33" tire
American Racing 901 Wheels in 18x9 with a 00mm offset
44psi
this combo will net you a 4.5" lift, 3" ish from the springs and daystar, tires added another 3" overall or 1.5" net
Tires are flush with fender, had to remove front flappers, and move fender liner up a little bit.
Concerns to many when i did my search was, vehicle will not align correctly.
Well, it does.
Here is my alignment sheets, the first one is from the day after my suspension was put on 8/28/12 @8am
Went wheeling this past sat 10/19/13 and came out with the wheel cocked to the side... LoL
Aligned it again this morning.
Skeptical? Well dont be. It will line up!
Still not sure? Well here i was at the Pine Barrens on 10/19/2013
