What all did you use from the seqouia? Obviously long block+ main harness. But what misc parts off the tundra/sequoia should one need of they were thinkin about this swap.
It all depends on how what you want swapped over.
The most basic swap:
You'll need the Engine (long block and all the accessories), Transmission, engine wire harness, ECM, Fuel pump resistor and Fuel pump .
The 4runner's transfer case will bolt onto the UZ tranny.
If the donor has a transponder key,
MAKE SURE YOU GET THE KEY, and its receiver assembly.
If you want to Upgrade to the Sequoia Instrument cluster, You'l need the Sequoia Climate ECU to make the Gauges work.
Now, If you want no CEL codes, you will need the EVAP box, both catalytic converters, the vapor pressure sensor in the gas tank, EVAP valves O2 and AF sensors from the donor vehicle.
I also used the front drive shaft from the donor vehicle and shortened the rear drive shaft.
So in a nut shell, you should have a donor vehicle as it will mostly have all the parts to do the swap.
Vehicles to look for: Tundras, Landcruiser, Lexus LX470 or Sequoia's. Tundra's always bring more money at salvage yards so rolled over Lexus or Sequoia's are the best bet. If you really want supremeness, try to find the Lexus as the motors are made in Japan and QC is much higher.
