Viability of a WM roof rack kit?

I'm familiar with your rack on the 3rd gen via pictures, never seen one in the wild.
Question regarding the the kit: roughly how many pieces are there and are there any difficult welds it would require?
I like many on the forum have some, but very limited experience with a welder.

No difficult welds, I guess. Its only challenging due to the fact that you need to move all over the place to stay in position, especially if you plan to tig weld it. The kit will have between 35-40 pieces.

Wow, well it sounds like something i'm going to have to do and I had no idea there would be so many folks willing to do the welding. Bear in mind, this is a fabricating project. there won't be any connect part A to part B kind of stuff, there will be finagling that has to happen, and you will probably cuss. I'll likely start a new thread once I have something to offer. A more complete list of things you'll need, or things that I use, to get one built:

Welder
Grinder/Files
Tape Measure
C-Clamps
Spring Clamps
90 degree welding magnets (for placing stanchions)
Rubber Mallet or block of wood
Speed Square
