All I bought was the ARB compressor, Manifold, Lockers and Tire inflate Kit. Everything was included. I used my own switches but they provided them as well.
I went with this solenoid manifold from Shane at Concept Customs to save a little room as I already have a tank set-up.Onboard AirYeppers.
Are locking front / rear or just rear?
I just used hi pressure plastic air lines and ran it outside down under on the pass. side. There is wiring there to run it along. The other is off a T-fitting on the tank.Awesome, alright thanks.
Hey Harper7 did you run standard air hose (like what I would buy from my local hardware store) to your quick connects? Or did you use more of this stainless braided hose. And did you run the line under the truck to the back or inside?

Harper where did you find these plastic air lines? Do you think I will be fine if I use standard air lines, I'm having a hard time finding anything but standard around here.

Thanks, but I think we got a little confused, I was referring to the lines you ran for your quick connects front and rear? I have the line for the locker. Sorry about that. Thanks again for the help!
Same kind of lines. You would just need a ARB push in fitting or compression fitting to attach the quick disconnect to the air line and source. You don't need the big heavy duty ones like on your link.Guess it wouldn't hurt anything.
They use these high pressure plastic lines for all kinds of auto air stuff like air bags,train horns, ect. Here's the ones I bought awhile back and still use.......Viair Air Source Relocation Kit
Then I used a hose clamp to attach it to one of the pre-existing threaded holes in the frame. I can shoot you a pic when I get home tonight.

So I had to get a new air manifold, and while I was at it, I figured what the heck and picked up the 1ga. ARB aluminum tank as well. They are both here and I am working on mounting the tank.
The tank has an input and an output, but should I add a safety blow off valve to this tank?
Right now my air lines go:
Compressor -> ARB manifold -> air line to a T connector at rear of truck -> One air line goes to a pressure gauge, and the other air line goes to the tank input -> output from the tank goes to a quick connect.
Does this sound ok?
What regulates your air pressure to manifold and tank?
What regulates your air locker air to 100psi?
I do have a safety blow off valve on my tank.
I have my main tank regulated to 165psi with a 200psi blow off valve and it has released before 4 or 5 times and is very loud.
The reason being is cold air pressurized to 165psi and then heated from being under the hood expands to 200psi and blows off the valve. If it keeps going over 200+ psi,it may not blow up your tank but you will find the weak spot in your system and can blow a line,fitting etc. It may be a time,like when offroading when you need that air!
I had my air line running to my back quick disconnect split where it runs next to the exhaust from repeated heat/high pressure when I was in Co. I had a another quick disconnect in my tool bag to fix the problem at the T on the tank that time but will put a shut-off valve at the T and braided hose past the exhaust this time to isolate and heat proof the system.

The ARB Twin has a built in pressure shut off valve. I have nothing on the manifold or tank though. I have yet to see anyone running a pressure cut off on the manifold, but maybe I will get one. Thanks for the good reply.

Do you know what pressure they shut off at? Probably 100 psi since that's what's called for on the ARB locker solenoids.
I probably wouldn't use a blow off valve for only 100psi.
My ViAir is capable of 200 but I regulated it to 165 for safety and to prolong it's life and then another regulator set at 105 for the lockers.
I put my air hose that runs the to the back of the truck directly into my gauge (without the T fitting for the gauge, tank, and quick connect) and it went straight to 180PSI...which seams kind of strange to me.
Was the compressor still running?
Couldn't find the max pressure for the twin ARB but the locker blog states 100psi. Maybe that was before the twin came out and maybe the higher pressures are ok?
