Is there a vin number on the motor, transmission, or frame is so where are the exact locations im curious to see if they all match because my tailgate glass did not

Canada has different laws when it comes to VIN tags. They don't put VIN stickers on the fenders, etc.
In the US, we have VIN tags on all the body parts, and SOME (can't confirm all) engines and transmissions. I have personally seen VIN tags on a 1999 4Runner 5speed on both the engine and transmission. From the factory the Frame has a VIN on the pass side, Front and rear bumpers have vins on them, all 4 doors, fenders, hood, and tailgate.
Glass doesn't have a VIN unless its etched in by the dealer/owner (pretty common though)
