My ACC vinyl floor was just plain backed vinyl.

It has been holding up great and still looks new after 7 months with daily abuse!

Ohhh also I noticed you said you used 40-45 sq ft of deadening on this. Was that just for the passenger cab under the vinyl flooring Was any of it doubled up? Thinking of doing Siless butyl mats as well as the foam and wondering if the 36 sqft packs of both those products will be enough to cover just under the vinyl flooring. I'll do more deadening down the road but I might as well get this part of it while I'm in there and not have to worry about changing the fit of the vinyl by adding something underneath it later. Also my ACC floor did come with the jute padding for the actual footwell (front and back) areas. Nice little bonus insulation I guess.

Drat, I did measure the actual rough cut vinyl and it's right about at 42ft2. Obviously will be a little less with all the cuts that need to be made but I'm wondering if it's going to be a whole 6ft2 less all said and done. I'd really hate to have to order twice as much sound deadening at this stage although I can easily use that to cover the cargo area as well while I'm in there. Was just hoping to be a little more budget friendly and do the sound deadening in a few more stages. Kinda wondering though if I could easily pull this back up in a spot like say under the passenger seats at a later date to finish the job. I figure that will be the least consequential area anyway for sound deadening as far as the passenger area.
