Sorry for not being specific about disconnecting and reconnecting the wires.
With the engine off, I disconnect the wires, then I start the engine, all the lights stay on...
Before I reconnect the wires, I turn the engine off, and then reconnect the wires and then turn the engine back on and the lights go off...
I have not tried disconnecting or connecting the wires while the engine is on. But I think I know where this is headed.
If you install a switch would you have to stop and turn the engine off and back on every time you flipped the switch?
