My 2000 4runner had an aftermarket viper alarm system installed. It was working fine until my car battery died, ever since the viper alarm system isn't working. I can get that fixed I guess by going to a viper retailer.
However, I want to see if I can reactivate my factory remote and alarm system. I have the original wireless keychain. I want to use the feature to remotely lower the rear window. Is this possible (to reactivate it)? or do I have to stick with the viper alarm system?
Any information would greatly be appreciated.
