This isn't working correctly because people post something, then it's silently taken, and the taker leaves nothing in return. What selfish BS.

It's happened with the aimpoint, and the light bar, and now we sit here waiting on someone new to post something.

The items needs to go to the first to CLAIM IT PUBLICLY ON THIS THREAD, then the CLAIMER needs to IMMEDIATELY offer something in return.

Actually ReidBailey who claimed my aimpoint posted up his two aob switches. It's the ones after that who dropped the ball not him.

Not sure that it's entirely their fault as I had to travel last minute this week and have yet to send their switches. I will though, promise guys.

It would make more sense and be easier to follow if when something is offered, the first person to post "I'll take it" AND what they're offering up next at the same time, gets the item. That way it is all public and easy to follow. You won't have three "I'll take it" and find out that someone as already PM-claimed it it. Also make more sense if one item at a time was up for grabs rather than multiples. Though, if an item gets no response, like the sub that has to be picked up, then another 'wildcard' item should be posted to keep the thread moving.

1) Item is offered

2) First person to claim has to post next item at same time.

3) Repeat

Should be easy since if you're playing the game, you should already have in mind and photographs of what you're going to put up.

Just my $0.02.

Looks like we got a bit mixed up here. Maybe we should also put "available" in big bold letters at the beginning of the post and "claimed by soandso" when it's been claimed that way when looking through the posts we can see what's been claimed and who needs to post.

Makes sense. I just would like to know if the member who claimed my light bar should be posting something before I ship it out to him and later see nothing was ever put up for grabs by them..
 
Posts 67-73 is why the protocol should probably be you have to put up the next item as you claim one... at the same time. If you don't have anything ready to put up don't claim it. Then there would be no lines, no waiting, no confusion, etc. etc.
 
To help keep this moving in an efficient manner, when you choose an item, please post that you would like the item and what you are offering. Do not try to claim an item via PM. Details can be worked out back channel, but the claim and offer should be a post.

Also remember, the items do NOT have to be of equal value or 4Runner related.
 
If you have posted an item that hasn't been claimed, please re-post it. I think the items available have gotten lost in the shuffle.

If so, I'll take the light bar, I believe I was first to claim in the thread....

ONLY RUNNING BOARDS AVAILABLE NOW

and offer 4th gen running boards AND/OR a pair of 03-05 4runner tail lights. Just cover shipping or I can meet 25 miles of 37617.

You're right, people being selfish is just one of my peeves... I've in turn offered things up, regardless of if I get the light bar or not.
 
Sorry guys. Been busy the last few days trying to figure the tuck out, as well as spending time with family that came into town.

I've got one factory 5 star with center cap, and a couple metal jerry cans that can be used for decoration or holding fluids. I DO NOT have the spout for them, which is the old school turn style spout.

Willing to split shipping.

I'll get some pics of the cans tomorrow. Here's the rim.
