Want to black out 04 Fog lights/turn signal

Hey guys, I want to black out the turn signal/fog lights on my 04 4runner. I searched and searched but all i found was write ups on the 5th gens...I was wondering if any of you have done this before and what you used/how you went about doing it.

Its greatly appreciated.

How do you remove this stuff? I'm guessing it'll work for head/tail lights too?

Yeah, it's just a paint. There's no removal other than maybe paint thinner. I've used night shades as well as Testor's translucent black (made to tint model car windows). You do want to clearcoat over it so it won't look faded and cloudy. You can just use automotive clearcoat from autozone for that part.

It actually came out pretty nice. I didn't take any before pictures but here are the afters. The tail lights were already blacked out.

Yes I know my runner has some cute little scuffs on it.

Nicely done!...looks good...I did the tails last spring and still trying to find some time to do the rest.

PS: u should black out the gray part of the front and back bumpers or even color match. Just a suggestion.

Dame, that looks good. I even like how you blacked out the 3rd brake light. I was thinking about using window tint myself, but this looks pretty good.

How do your fogs preform after?

You should take those badges off and paint those black as well!
