Water leaking into cabin of 4Runner. Any ideas??

Well, it rained hard last night, and when I got in my '99 4R this morning, (of course I had it parked outside) my rear driverside seat was wet. Not only that, but the headliner around all 4 doors and even the rear hatch were all wet. The inside glass showed beads of water near the top of each window. The only area that wasn't wet was around the windshield and that's b/c I just had that piece replaced a week ago due to leaking caused by faulty glue. I don't have a sunroof on this T4R. I don't think I'll have time until this weekend to test the doors w/ a pressure washer and see what's going on. What do you all think?? Do I just need to replace the rubber seals around every door? Maybe the glue used on the seals is faulty. I just thought it was odd I have this problem on every door.

do you have a roof rack?

if so, check that the end caps arent loose or broken.

I agree with Lee. Definitely check the roof rack. One time I removed my roof rack to repaint the faded black that it was. When I did that, I noticed that it was imperative to use silicone along with the screws when I re-installed it. Silicone to seal the holes since right below was the interior itself.

So check all the screws and caps. That might very well be the cause of your leaks.

Well I checked the roof rack as suggested and guess what, problem found, or at least half of it anyway. Of the 2 rails that run from front to back, the one on the driver side actually had a screw missing that bolts straight into the roof. One of the 3 slats running from side to side was sitting over it and I hadn't noticed the missing bolt until I removed all the slats. I couldn't find the problem area on the right rail, except for the fact it was a little loose overall. So I dismantled the entire rack, put a bead of silicone around each screw hole on the roof, put the rails back on and then to be safe, laced each screw w/ silicone and then drilled them in.

It was late when I finished, so I didn't feel like getting the pressure washer out in 30 deg weather last night to test it, but as soon as I can I will, unless it rains first.
