Water pump/timing belt question.

I'd rather buy from the stealer ship then ebay. I did buy an oem water pump for my 95 camry and 16k miles after changing it it started squealing. I just know aisin is oem on the pump and figured the rock auto aisin is knock off
 
I bought a kit similar to that one and all of the parts are oem. They have the exact same part numbers as the stealer. In the end, it's your money.

Then go ahead. This is a good seller and hundreds of people on this site have bought from him. You can't touch this at the stealership for that price heck with tax you can hardly get the water pump and belt from the stealership but hey if it makes you feel better to spend more then go ahead. Not my job to teach you economics.
 
+1 for the aircabinman kit, just installed it a week ago and everything is from an OEM manufacturer and fit 100%.
 
When I did my TB and WP a few months ago, I also purchased the aircabinman kit and I had no issues with any of the parts.
 
I have the differance in bold, Toyota rebrands there belts and what not to Toyota but they are from what I can tell the same.

Aisin is OEM. I've got an Aisin water pump and timing belt in mine from Rock Auto. I'm not sure about Rock Auto's Aisin being knock-off. I guess that's possible too, but I studied mine pretty thoroughly when it arrived and decided I was going to throw it in the truck. I figure I'll learn if it's good or not. If it breaks, I'll let you know.

Is it worth the extra for toyota belts. I've never heard of Mitsoboshi? I've heard the toyota belt has the timing marks on the belt?

That i'm not sure of. I guess if I was doing it myself id buy the kit for 280 and know you have the timing marks.
 
Mitsuboshi was the OEM manufacturer of the Toyota timing belts. That has now been taken over by Bando. It has the timing marks on it.
Either kit is good, there is nothing that I would pay extra for in the first kit, except maybe the thermostat, but that's not a deal breaker.
 
I'm gonna order the kit with the mitsuboshi belt in the morning. Where can I buy or maybe rent the tool used to remove the crank bolt?
