WeatherTech In-Channel Vent Shades: Need to trim?

Just got a set of WeatherTech in-channel front vent shades. Driver's side went on without issue. Passenger side seems like it's about 1/2" too long... and can't make it go in the channel at the front of the window.

Anyone else had this problem? Were you just able to trim it and have it work?

Ive got the same ones you have, and the install was a breeze, took me maybe 10 mins to get them all in and they fit perfectly. Just remember when you do get them in, to leave the window up for 24hrs for them to settle in.

Maybe you could slide the rubber up the front track, and work it up to the top corner of the door/window. That might be enough to get the room you need. I know the rubber gets moved around with time.
Also interested in installed pics! I need a set of in-channel vent shades.

OK. Took another stab at it. I guess my advice would be to install it like I own it. :gun4:

It was a little disconcerting to bend it, and man-handle it as much as it needed. But the vent shades are made of some tough flexible stuff. Went in fine, and don't appear to be having any issues with windows rolling all the way up.

I just installed my new floor liners when I was finished with the vents. Mine are gray, and the fit is excellent!
