WeatherTech visors

I have a 2008 Limited with the one touch up and down drivers window and recently installed the WeatherTech visors, I have had these on other trucks and they are excellent. That said my question is sometimes the drivers window goes up fine and other times it reverses is there any way to reset the window so it operates properly with the visors installed?

Thanks!

I bet there is probably a way which one of the electrical guys will chime in and help you out with. I would suggest re-titling your post though to attract their attention. Just a thought :)

One Touch Power Window Question

I 'tried' to install mine tonight and broke both of them. The part that broke was the rear most flat part that sits in the channel. I started with the drivers side and followed the instructions and when I went to put the window up, I heard something break and then the window automatically rolled back down. Then a little half moon piece of plastic slid down the channel into the door. I was a little dumbfounded as these were supposed to be so easy to install. I tried to do the passenger side and it did the EXACT same thing. I called Weathertech and told them what happened and they are sending 2 new one out no questions asked. I am a little scared to attempt to install these again for fear of breaking them. What am I missing here? Anyone had this experience? I feel really dumb and am seriously considering having them installed as silly as that sounds.

Once you install them you need to leave your windows up for a few days so the visors can seat in the channel! Otherwise the window senses tension and thinks there is something blocking the window and goes back down!

you can reset the window by unhooking the battery and then hooking it back up. when you get back into the car you have to hold the window in the "up" position for about 10 seconds and it will take that as its new "up", you will also have to do this for the back window since you unhooked the battery

My vents have been installed for over 2 weeks.

So hold the up button 10 seconds?

Does the moon roof have to be reinitialized also?

its about 10 seconds, i'm guessing the moon roof would also need to be reset if it has an auto-open, or auto-close like the driver and hatch windows have

(i dont have a moon roof so i dont know sorry)

The rear window would also have to be reinitialized if the battery is disconnected. I had no problem installing mine but occationally the drivers window does open again after autoclosing. Having it closed for sometime will definately help.
