Weathertech Window Visors

$100 for the Weathertech's? That's way over priced in my opinion. I got mine for less than $50 I think.

For Weathertech's or generics? Either way...where did you get them? There are some in-channels on eBay for under $50. Thinking about getting those.

you can find them on ebay and i did not have this problem
Maybe the instructions help avoid this problem. After installing your suppose to bring your windows up and down once or twice then leave them up all the way. Open and shut your door a couple times and i made sure hit the button up again. Did this to all doors and left it over night.
My drivers and passengers side visors were a bit tough to install.. i actually cracked the corner of my drivers side.. but it is unnoticeable.

Are the rears in channel as well? What brand are those? Looks good!
My weathertech are made of DOT approved plastics. Others may not. I chose them over others on ebay because I really don't want a stray soccer, basketball, football, any ball from clanging off the visor and shattering while the vehicle is in motion. Anything can happen...
Sure the weathertech's can shatter too, but I'd rather risk it knowing what they're made of before something happens.

Mine are made by Wade. I've had them for 10 months now and haven't had a single problem. I don't see any reason to pay the extra money for the Weathertechs.

Post a picture of the WADE ones. WeatherTech is a quality German product with 3 year warranty (their mats are made in good old USA and have lifetime warranty). Any warranty on WADE? - broke one installing is not good sign. We all bought Yota based on proven quality - Hyundais are cheaper but not perhaps in long run. Likewise, WeatherTech is proven quality - I've been happy with all their products.

Those are nice looking with a great purpose but with my luck i gave up on those. I used to have the AVS brand ($39.95) waaay back 5 years ago. Wish they sell those pieces individually especially the driver's side. 3 months after i installed it, I accidently broke my driver's side just by simply sticking my head out the window when i had to look out for something. Then i bought another set just to use the driver's side. 2 weeks later when a friend of mine was talking to me, he was leaning on it with his 2 hands and broke it. After that incident, i took all of 'em out.

Weathertech install
Just a note to anyone going to do the install. Back windows are easy and have adhesive - just make sure to remove the tape carefully or you will remove the adhesive as well.
When doing the front windows, work from the front of the truck back and be carefull not to "pinch" the rubber gasket that is on the outside of the window channel.

I thought there were no adhesives involved with the inchannel visors.

There are. That's the only way they would stay in. I think it would be pretty easy to remove them and you would not see the residue.
True - that it is likely the only way they would stay in. However, I suspect that once they are in for awhile, the adhesive will set firm, making removal difficult.
