All-
I am having a weird issue with my drivers door speaker(s). These speakers are playing at about 75% of the volume of all the other speakers.
I have a 2008 SR5 with the standard sound system. I have swapped out the headunit & this issue started 5 weeks after the install. Since then, i have redone the wiring connections (soldered & heat-shrinked) & the issue is still there.
I know the speakers still work, because when I use the bluetooth function for phone calls, it only plays out of the driver's door speakers. To match the volume at a normal listening level (~10/40) i have to put the volume at 30-32/40.
Has anyone ever had this issue before? My next step is going to be pulling the door panels (both driver & passenger) & getting a voltmeter reading from the speakers on both, with the passenger being the baseline. Hopefully this is a quick fix, because I don't want to have to replace the door speakers, yet.
And before the questions happen, yes i have checked the balance (left to right) on the system.
