Well,, kicked my 4th gen to the curb,,,

And pulled the trigger on a 2015 TE with a mere 21k on it. Had to fly to St Louis to pick her up but the 1600 mi drive home was a good maiden voyage.

The 5th gen definitely is way more comfortable, at 6'2", the extra leg and head room is much appreciated. And the seats are not even in the same class, my body is very thankful for the upgrade. All the other bells and whistles are pretty cool as well..

The mods so far,, move my roof rack and light bars over from my '08 and added an auto dimming mirror. Also added the complete 3D MAXpider Kagu Rubber Floor Mats,, love 'em.

Next up, airlift 100's, RRO sliders (on order) , RCI skids (on order), and may do some suspension work as the stock trail seems a little "soft".

So far,, absolutely loving the 5th gen. Many travels ahead!
Now gotta get that 4th gen on CL.

I have the MAXpider mats in our 5th gen and WeatherTechs in our 3rd Gen. I like the 3D's better as they are more flexible so taking them out of the car with a bunch of debris in the bottom is less tricky than the more rigid WeatherTechs. I thought the 3Ds would be a pain to clean, but a hose and soapy brush cleans them up real quick, whereas the WeatherTechs have dirt film afterward, perhaps the harder plastic retains dirt embedded in them? The fit is great from both with the exception of the rear seat WeatherTech mat leaving a lot to be desired. The 3D's grid texture goes great with the 5th gen interior as well, and you save a little dinero too.

Thanks. I found the site and like the look a lot better than the others. Never a fan of the weathertech rear and cargo. Added to my list to order.

It looks leveled out already so I'd be curious to what it done before you mod it. I suspect spacer lift but you might have 5100's already. Worth checking out as it is not stock...

They were slightly less expensive than the Weather Tech mats, which I have in my '08. And I love the carbon fiber look. They look like part of the truck and not aftermarket, very cool looking. It also looks like they will be easier to keep clean. The WT mats stain and never look "new" after a few thrashings.

Its the Smitty Built Defender rack. It does work well with the factory rails but I needed to fab up some hard rubber shims to shim between the rack and the rails. Didn't have to do that with the "08,, rails may look the same but apparently they are not.
Very stout rack though, and comes with front and rear light bar mounts.

Yeah it was lifted by the original dealer. Spacer lift, need to pull tires to find out if anything was done with the shocks. If they are stock "SR5 grade" I will upgrade to 5100's and OME springs in the rear. Between the tire size and the lift the '15 sits at least 3" higher than my '08 which is lifted 3". It make the '08 look wimpy when side by side.
