What air freshener??

I buy a box of dryer sheets, and leave them under the seat. Every other week or so, I'll pull the top one off on my way inside, and toss it in the dryer for that weeks laundry.

Literally every single person who's gotten in my car has commented on how nice it smells. There is no one who doesn't enjoy the smell of fresh laundry.

Black Ice Tree. It smells like a scented chemical cleaner, like your car just got detailed. Not flowery or fruity.

Surprised youre the first one to mention black ice. In high school that was like the staple air freshener everyone was using. Not knocking it I think its awesome. I would get it in the spray cans sometimes and it worked great.

Try it one time. You will never use anything else. I don't do it to save money I use them because we always have them in the laundry room. Plus you never see them as they are under the seat.

I definitely am not cheap but I like the more is less approach and I have never been a "me too" guy. Dryer sheets. Try them.

Believe it or not this is an old Submariner trick. You put dryer sheets in with all your civilian clothes so they do not smell like the boat when you get off. Glad some one else does this. Now I can tell my wife I am not totally crazy.

On a side note they do not work right away on killing the wet dog scent. ainkiller:

Not in my day! It was Sprig air fresheners before we got all hi-tech with the Japanese bottles!

Now, how many of you remember Spice or Pine???

Mine just smells like campfire, wet dog, and wet waders. Kind of partial to it and probably less likely to attract bears than an air freshener.

If I don't change the old dryer sheets mine smells like bike helmet, armored bike gloves and wet Camelbak. Smells fine to me but passengers, not so much.
