What am I doing wrong?

I'm currently compressing some FJ springs on some 5100s. I'm compressed the spring enough so that there is a gap between the top of the spring and top hat, however, I still need about another .5" before I can out the nut on top. Anyone have an idea of what I'm doing wrong?

I used the LCA method when installing mine but you need to compress the top bushing. If I were you, I'd leave it off and get the unit installed, then use the weight of the spring/vehicle to compress it enough to get the nut on. Hope that helps

Called Toytec, I just needed to compress the bushing a bit and get the nut threaded. Got both together and ready to install.
