Eh, it is blackface, but it's not used in a racially charged meaning. I mean they are from South Africa... This would be a little different if they were American or this was filmed in America.

Ill watch the video ASAP, and Have A Cigar. Heard it many times, just never really listened closely. My favourite songs are "Brain Damage" and "Comfortably Numb". It's great music, no doubt.

dubstep isn't music. Its a lot of unorganized sounds that seems to be out to annoy people (like really "technical" jazz). This is coming from along time electronic music fan (and jazz fan).
I never really liked the trendy House music. But, I was really into Jungle-Drum n Bass and Gabber. So, you wouldn't think that dubstep would be too far of a stretch, but it really just makes me scratch my head.
I hear you kids listening to it in traffic sometimes and wonder, "how does that actually sound good to anyone?" Then again, I wonder the same thing anytime I hear someone listening to rap too...

Both are great songs! I just wish i didnt grow up in this era. Always being classified and judged because of the heavily prevalent music in my era. I hate it.
If you like Comfortably Numb, check out High Hopes, Sheep, Shine on You Crazy Diamond (both instrumental and lyrical versions), Speak To Me/Breathe, and Hey You.
I love seeing people listen to GOOD music in this day and age!
There are many different sub-genres that originate from "dubstep". There are some genres and artists that I too wonder "how the hell do people like this?!". I'm more into the "chill-step" and mellow dubstep. Every now and then I'll want a more up-beat and higher tempo song to psych me up.
People all have their own interests and things they enjoy. That's the beauty of life. If everybody in the world liked all the same things, what would be the purpose of life?

Yeah, I'm aware of sub genres and maintain my opinion, despite your little philosophy lesson. Trust me, recent music is either a rip of of something that's already been done or gone so far off the deep end in an attempt to "be different" that they just sound stupid.
I listen to everything from Lamb of God to Pink Floyd, Miles Davis to Bob Marley and (almost) everything in between. And, I have to tell you, there is good music in most genres, but a big percentage of it is just crap. The more time that passes it seems there is an even bigger cross section of crap. I can't even listen to "alternative" music these days. Its just a bunch of whiney ass, poser pu$$ies trying to sound all hard because they start the song crying and end it screaming.
That said, there is nothing worse than rap. It does have an easy formula though, take a dude and have him make up a bunch of unrelated rhymes then lay down a beat with a drum machine behind it. Oh, and don't forget up his street cred by talking about bit@hes, hoes, drugs his posse and dolla bills. What a joke, I still can't believe people listen to that shit.
