Any hardcore kids on the forum? I've been listening to this stuff since I was ten years old. Seen countless bands.... converge, curlupanddie, darkest hour, the hoods, earth crisis, turmoil, american nightmare (give up the ghost), the hope conspiracy, of mice and men, devil wears prada, the warriors, terror, first blood, fall silent, august burns red, indecision, candiria, most precious blood, snapcase, walls of jericho, etc etc etc

Hey Rob. I think my last post got lost in the forum update. Anyway here is a link to some old recording from when I was 19 lol (I'm 27 now). The rest of the guys in the band were 17-18 at the time. Our part time jobs enabled us to buy a van, recording time, and our parents for some reason let us tour for up to a month at a time alone lol. We played most of the midwest, south, and west coast. We also opened for Zao, Underoath, Unearth, Every Time I Die, and many more way back then. We were together for about 4 years. We got older needed real money and went off to college lol.

It's nothing really awesome musically by today's standards but it really always was just about having fun and meeting good people. Being kids.

Nice! That must have been a blast. I'm the same age as you and was in a band in my teens up in Oregon, but it never went anywhere... we kinda lost our guitar player to extreme amounts of alcohol when playing shows in portland. He pretty much gave up. Coulda been something though.

Your old band reminds me of old shows I'd go to up in Portland at the Meow Meow or at Nocturnal... or in Tucson at Skrappy's or The Rock. Not sure if you've ever played in Portland or Tucson. But yeah sounds great! That was the style back then too. Definitely makes me miss those days! :cheers:
