What could cause 07 4Runner 2WD SR5 driver side rear window to go down on its own. I hope this will only happen while the switch is on (for security while I search). Who has seen this problem and what was your issue and fix?

I feel it will be a short but where? This 2 yr new to me truck is scaring me since my past truck was total due to a shorted ignition causing a dash fire.

Fixed I Hope! After finding in the “daylight and morning after”, a tool basket had slipped. A friend made the best suggestion by saying, “You Are Causing The Problem”. My inspection showed a tool’s handle directly on top of the switch due to shifting to the door (attached). Too Busy To Check For Little Things First!
