What Customized Settings Have You Had The Dealership Do?

Has anyone paid the dealer to change the settings? If so, how much did it cost?
When I picked up my brand new SR5 last weekend, I asked about having some changes made and the salesperson told me they would have to charge me for it. He didn't know how much it would be.
Unfortunately, the next closest delear is 45 miles away. Nonetheless, I may call this other dealer to check on cost.

It should be free. All Toyotas get free adjustments for 1 year or 12000 miles (I think it is), including alignment. I'm waiting for my 5K service.
I've even received an email from my dealership telling me to start making a list of any adjustments I want them to make.
Don't listen to the salesperson. Ask the service manager.

I just had the 5k oil change at the dealer where I got it. I had them change:
- Increased rear wiper delay duration
- Shut off "Anti-drip" on rear wiper
- Open windows with remote
- Turn off seat belt chime (For when I drive from my garage to the front of my house, so easy there Safety Nazis)
No charge, they didn't say anything about it.

all the t4r's have these settings...you can do all these options yourself...it just takes some time and alot of :crybaby: to figure it all out

Just took mine in for it's 5000 mi service and had some of the settings customized:
1. Changed auto door lock after unlock to 120 seconds.
2. Changed wireless remote control of windows to on.
3. Changed wireless remote control of moon roof to on and to tilt rather than slide.
4. Changed seat belt reminder chime to off for both front seats.
5. Tried to change the rear wiper interval from 3 to 4 seconds, but it wouldn't take. Anyone else have this problem?
6. I did the DIY door unlock setting using all the remote buttons, so now all doors unlock with the grab of the driver handle.
Still wondering why #5 did not take. I watched the tech make the selection and it just wouldn't save.

Effect on burglar alarm with seatbelt-chime disable?
I miss little about my recently-departed FJ Cruiser, except the proximity sensors and the button that deactivated the motion-detector of the burglar alarm. That way, I could leave my dog in the front seat for a few minutes without the alarm activating.
On my '11 4R Lmtd, how does the disabling of the seatbelt chime effect the truck's alarm operation? I'm assuming it doesn't,... my owner's manual only indicates that the alarm is triggered by doors/hood being opened.

I called the service dept. when my '12 LE still had less than 1k miles - and they wanted to charge me $75. I talked to the sales manager and he must of pulled a string, because the $75 turned into $0...
I had the seatbelt chime turned off, and also asked them to enable to auto window operation.
Just wanted to confirm - on your windows do the front windows start rolling down before the rear windows? On mine when I hold down the unlock for 3 seconds,the front two windows begin rolling down, 1/2 second later the rear ones start rolling down. If you release unlock button at any time the windows stop rolling down imediately (doesn't latch).
Just wanted to confirm this is normal behavior.
