Fkn Toyota, why would you put a half skid plat on the most vital part of the truck!!

What would be the best approach for the rust?

Sand it down > wash it > spray with rustolium? Suggestions welcome!

The TE skid isn't bad at all, not sure why anyone would replace it unless you have to go through a rock garden to get in and out of your house
