Put a little work in today. Installed my compressor, Odyssey battery and started wiring the pelfrey fuse panel. I'll be finishing up the electrical portion next week and should have my front bumper and rack installed before spring starts.

I got the aluminum ones. No need powder coat them although I did briefly consider painting them orange.

Red Rock Canyon State Park
Nothing too crazy went out to the Red Rock Canyon State Park. Hit up some of the trails there and then photographed the night sky. The wind was crazy and brought in some thick clouds so I wasn't able to do the Milky Way this time. Hopefully next times! More photos here.

Installed the Anytime Backup Camera dongle with AOB (Air On Board) camera switch on my '16 TEP with Entune.
Here is the wiring setup for the switch that I used.
AOB Red (+12V supply) -> Anytime black wire
AOB Green (return) -> Anytime black wire (2nd wire)
AOB Blue (backlight or when rear camera is on) -> Factory Wiper Warmer Green/Gray striped wire
AOB Black (ground) -> to chassis ground or wiper warmer gray wire
Based on the location of the switch, I soldered some 20ga wire to the AOB blue and black wires to get the length I needed to access the factory wiper warmer wires.
I installed the AOB camera switch where the Party Mode knockout was since I don't have that and it's really in the perfect place as close to the factory head unit in my opinion.
If the switch lights up when not depressed and headlights are OFF, you have to reverse the black wires (they are not marked or differentiated). I lucked out and worked as desired.
After wiring everything up, I tested before I put the truck back together. It didn't work the first time. On second look, I noticed the Anytime dongle didn't feel locked into the factory harness. So I pushed it hard to get it in and, booyah, it worked on the second test.
With ignition on, headlights OFF, and camera button not depressed, the AOB switch is not lit.
With ignition on, headlights ON, and camera button not depressed, the AOB switch is backlit and factory dimmer works on the AOB switch.
With ignition on, headlights OFF, and camera button is depressed, the AOB switch light is on.
I'm providing this mini-writeup as it was difficult to find the wiring that was working for people even though I searched on T4R and on Google. Hope this helps anyone who may be looking for this exact information.

Awesome. Is this the park just north of Mojave? If so I always drive by it but haven't had the chance to stop yet.. I may have to soon. It's always fricken windy over there.

Finally installed converted headlights. Nothing fancy, just removed the orange marker insert, as orange markers are illegal in Poland, they have to be white. I was actually very pleased with the look - much better without sticking out "orange eyes" that made 4Runner look like a scared frog. (yes, I have many moving boxes after my move California to Poland).
To make markers visible I replaced W5W with common LED bulb. It is actually visible at daytime.
While I had bumper off I cleaned up the LED bar. Actually having LED bar behind the grill makes it difficult to clean. After 6 months and 10k miles it was so much crap on it.
I used Plexus Plexiglass Cleaner (stuff we used to clean Cessna windscreen), and now it's like new.
BTW, after driving through Polish winter, snow and rain, mud and salt on the road and high pressure washing I found that my light bar doesn't have even a hint of condensation. Good stuff.
I will write more about the headlight replacement including never published details. Stay tuned.

How did your move go, particularly shipping the 4R? What were some if the lessons learned?
This is the one just North of Mojave, it's gorgeous you should for sure stop by at some point. The hiking trails are great and there are some light off road ones as well. There is an awesome hike at the main Red Rock Canyon stop and it takes you to a bunch of rad rock formations, the campground is equally as awesome with formations and it's all first come first server.
The wind kicked up to something like 20 Mph I didn't want to stick around for that lol. It was like that all over Southern California this past weekend. I was super bummed I wanted to go camping for the weekend, but I didn't want to deal with the wind.

I did it easy way - got moving company to handle the entire move except packing my house (I did it myself saving over 7500 dollars). The moving company handled all paperwork and physical door to door move (house and three cars including 4Runner).
Lessons learned? I wouldn't do anything better. I was either lucky or very organized and well prepared. My advise is don't be cheep in selecting moving company - if you save up front you will pay later. This is not cheap, so it is worth only for special cars like 4Runner. For normal cars it is better to buy new localy (easier to register and cheaper to insure).

Still kinda new to the 4runner. Had a Nissan Xterra Pro-4x and a Jeep JK Rubi prior. Needed more room for the kiddos and the ability to tow my little off road camper.
Just got done installing Bilstein 5100's (Set to .85" up front with 10mm OME spacers in the rear.) Also got some new shoes - Cooper ATP Load E's in stock config. Loving how it drives now. The mild nature of the lift and the ride quality is now absolutely perfect. Love it. :guitar3:
Oh...last item...Raingler Nets custom made me an upper half cargo barrier net (had one in my Xterra prior). Works great.
