What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Would someone be able to help me out with wiring an ARB Twin Compressor to an AOB switch? I am having a hell of a time trying to understand everything.

So the AOB Switch has 4 wires. Red, Green, Blue, and Black. Based on the wiring diagram provided, I have come up with the following.

To get the lower text to light up, the blue needs to be connected to the 12v+. It says to use a fused 12v supply, so I am going to use an add a fuse in to the interior fuse box.

The black wire then needs to get connected to the dash - via the gray wire on the wiper warmer switch to make it dim. That should make the lower text come on with the dash lights and such.

The ARB switch harness has two black ground wires which I will combine together to ground somewhere.

Then I get totally lost.

I have a red and a green wire left on my AOB switch harness. The red is shown to go to my 12v+ trigger, and the green is shown to be going to the relay. So shouldn't the AOB red go to the ARB red? Then what do I use the AOB green wire for?

The ARB Red/Yellow wire is marked as to ignition and the ARB Blue/White wire is marked as to dash illumination. Could I run the ARB Red/Yellow to a fused 12v source and then run that to my AOB Blue wire? And then do the dimmer circuit with the ARB Blue/White wire and tie that in to my AOB black wire? I am so confused and not sure how to proceed on this one. HELP!!!

Busy day. Not only did I wash and detailed the wife's M3. I tackled installing #morimoto HID retrofits into the truck, while I had the radiator cover off I took apart the upper grille to remove the logo to plastidip it. While I was doing that Amazon came with my LED interior bulbs and got to doing that. To top off the day I masked off the rear logo and #4rumner chrome pieces and dipped them. Little things makes this truck "mine" the bigger stuff will come in time but for now these things will hold me over. Oh and I also did the fender liner mod so no more rubbing with the wheels turned whilst in reverse. Also got this patch from a friend [emoji23]

Nice job Daohaus. How did the retrofits turn out? Any pics? I’m looking in to that as well. Is the cutoff line much better than the stock projector? Just wondering if it’s worth it. Thanks. Great patch too lol.

Since I'm on the board for the Cheyenne Mountain Repeater Group, I park the left side on 147.345 (Cheyenne Mtn) most of the time. The right side moves around depending on what I want to listen to. Unfortunately, our D-Star repeaters don't have a gateway connection so I don't listen to those repeaters very often.

I'll be heading down to AZ on the 31st and I'll be monitoring the MegaLink system in NM and the EAARS system...more specifically the Heliograph Peak repeater.

My antenna is a Diamond NR770NMO on a Diamond mount but I want to install a Larsen NMO mount through the roof as soon as I can figure out how to get the headliner down enough to drill a hole without going through the liner and route the coax.

I wish I understood anything you just said!

Hey, I got them from Auxbeam.com (a friend who has them installed in his STI recommended them). I got the T1 model which is I think their newer LED in production.

Installed my Raingler net above the rear cargo area. For what it is, it's a pain to install - those C-pillar panels are a ***** if you haven't done them before. Was a bigger pain not realizing the longer loops needed to be installed on the D-pillars when they had already been installed on the C-pillars.

Hangs kinda low. Wish I had gotten the mesh - some of my shorter items keep falling out.

Edit: Within a coupler hours of this post, Raingler contacted me about exchanging my net for a mesh one. Can't beat customer service like that.

Edit 2: And I got a tracking number on the new net before I went to bed!

Just wrapped up a week long trip with the wife, 9 month old and pop up camper from Denver to Park City to the Tetons to Yellowstone, out the NE entrance and back to Denver. Probably wouldn't do it again with a 9 month old, but overall was a fun experience. Arrived home to my new camper plates in the mail.
