My better half and I took a short camping trip a few hours from our home. Not many pics of the 4R as it sat parked at our site. Hopefully the other pics will give you Northerns still covered in snow (like my family in Minnesota) a boost... your spring thaw is coming, and you'll soon be out camping, too. :hatsoff:

I went to BudBuilt to have the bumpout sliders and skids installed, as well as the ICON stage 2.

Saw another brand new 14 TE Super White driving home from work, then saw the driver... Looked like some 16yo high school chick who just got it and was driving friends around. :doh:

Almost made me want to cry knowing all the potential that will be wasted driving to the mall. :tsk:

Couldn't stand the halogens in a projector lens. Threw some 35w 4300K bulbs in. Sooo much better now, and the cut off is pretty good too. If you didn't know any better you'd think it's stock.

[MENTION=464]clin9383[/MENTION] - We went to Meridian SP. It's only 2.5 hours northwest of us. It's not one I'd recommend as a destination park... we just went there out of convenience. The site was pretty good, but nothing amazing.

We both suggest Guadalupe SP as a good park to head to. We've been there and had a great time... good camping spots.

No offroading, though. Not sure if you're looking for that.

I was lucky to get my hands on the shocks as they were the last set MetalTech had in stock and ICON was out when BudBuilt contacted them. BudBuilt and MetalTech are awesome! :rockon:

Better Late than never!

I am late in posting this but two weeks ago today I picked this up our 4Runner.



The next day we had a little Oyster Roast with the In-Laws who were in town visiting.

For the past year or so I've kinda ignored the interior and only cursory exterior cleanings due to a very busy personal life. The last week every day I've gone out at lunch time and focused on one specific area on the inside to wipe down every panel. Today I did a very focused cleaner wax (Meguires #6) on the outside.

Interior pics wouldn't do justice based on where it came from and where we are today. Still lots of work ahead.
