Installed some lastfit 7440 led blinker bulbs in my rear blinkers and they are alot brighter than the stock ones. Left led and right stock in the picture and one both led. These have built in canbus so no fast blink or bulb errors.

Finally came around and decided drilling a hole was worth it. No regrets!

I agree, not a fan of drilling holes in the dash, but it's a great spot for a phone. I did the same and ran power under the dash.

Installed an Airaid MXP intake. Half off due to a Labor Day sale, so why not?

The noise is intoxicating. I refuse to put an exhaust on this thing, as I've yet to hear one that sounds good. This intake sounds like I'd like the exhaust to sound. And no, my butt dyno is not registering a power bump, but I wasn't expecting one.

The cam bolts on the stock were seized and I couldn't get a proper alignment. Took a sawzall to them. 2 year old vehicle and have had the car aligned a few times. Nuts they are seized up.

Just short of 2,000 miles from KC to the Black Hills in SD. Pulling a 6X10 trailer with a 4 seat Kawasaki Terxy.

The 4Runner did fine. Ran into a pretty strong headwind most of the way home yesterday. Certainly did not help the mileage. Spent the majority of the 750 miles yesterday in 4th gear.

Drove 70-75mph pretty much the whole way.

Yesterday, I installed new LED headlights from DRZ Off Road. You can find them on the T4R vendor board. I also installed some CalieRaised LED pods in the fog light buckets.

I am pleased with the output from the DRZ high beams. They are super bright. The low beams are just a bit better than stock. In any case, getting rid of the dull halogens is a very good feeling. One drawback is with the DRZ low beam bulbs is the daytime running lights aren’t really an option because they come on at full high beam output. I’m not sure if this is the case with all LED bulbs.

Installing the CaliRaised pods took some work. I had to take off the front bumper cover, which was an adventure. And I had to do some cutting of the stock plastic fog lights bezels, and some trimming of the bumper cover was necessary as well. Cutting on a new 4Runner gives an uneasy feeling, but the end result is very good.

Good question, I started with a Sprint Booster and noticed a bit more fun experience. Then I added the CAI and noticed more power and definitely more sound. Then I added a Gibson Exhaust and noticed even more power and again...better sound. So in combination, I can tell a huge improvement. Individually, not as much, just slight improvements.

RCI full skid plate package with fuel tank skid in aluminum. When performing this job solo, the floor jack is your friend! Only hiccup, needed to run to the hardware store for longer bolts (m8 x 1.25 x 60mm), on the transfer case skid. Bolts that came with the kit were now too short when using the supplied spacers.

When you have the full package you don't use the spacers. The spacers are only if you have the front only, the transmission skid takes the place of the spacers. Then same again for the t-case.

100%. Needs a front end alignment though. And they do look sexy as hell. Have the uppers as well. I need a spring swap out though. Running king 550 and have the 650s ready to go on.

Had one bushing frozen and one cam bolt frozen solid. I thing a carbide blade couldn’t handle though!!
