I got these same ones on Amazon. The reason I got these ones and not a cheaper version is because I was 100% sure that these fully covered the chrome emblem and were the right size. These were a perfect fit and worth the price.

Yeah, these are excellent but I see now that he has a Limited so this kit wouldn't work for him.

Completely different. One is an overlay, the other is a while new emblem. Good luck getting those new emblems on straight and perfectly spaced once the original ones are removed.

Washed all the mud off from earlier in the week. Revealed a bunch of scratches that I put on it 44-wheeling! Not scratches from some idiot in a Walmart parking lot.

Did a better job mounting my Sprint Booster controller onto one of the blanks (after I confirmed it actually did something). Followed up with installing my BlackVue 750S dash cam with the OBDII EZ install cable. Super easy not trying to tap fuses or figure out which ones to use.

Man those look good. Do you have to drill or do they use existing holes?

I just installed mine also. At sport 5, I feel like it's a little bit to responsive or aggressive. 1/2 throttle holds till redline. Not really sure I like it just yet. I do like the faster throttle response but I feel like it could actually make driving in poor weather dangerous.

Definitely much cheaper than OEM however lets see how the hold up over time. Cartrimhome is a cheap chinese junk in general so I don't have much faith in their products at all.

I had no problem getting mine back on straight. I removed every single one and painted them. There is a template you can download that has the exact spacing. I layed down painters tape marked the spaced a double checked with the template. A little time and patience. I would do it 5x over with a $5 can of paint then send $80 but that's just me. Some people have the time others don't.

I would say just turn it off if weather or traction is a concern. I'm at Sport 3 and I'm pretty happy with it. Especially on the freeway where I felt I had to almost mash the pedal just to keep up at 60-65mph.

I'm all for a much cheaper DIY solution however that is temporary. Paint does not stick to chrome very well. You can soak the chrome in chlorine and strip it off the plastic but that takes time. I did it with the grill emblem on my Tacoma and it was not worth the time and effort it took. Toyota chrome is damn good even on their plastic lol. I think it took about 2 weeks to completely strip and that was with scrubbing and sanding. I want to do it once and be done with it. The $80 for some super thin plastic hurt but I know in 10 years mine will still look the same as they do now.
I like the matte black finish a lot better...
