3 little easy ones today, Rad Rubber fender liners, grill badge, and not pictures H9 low beam modification.

Rad Rubber liners are amazing and well worth the money in general but even more if you off road, my OEM ones were torn up already.

The H9 conversion took maybe 3 minutes per side. An exacto knife for the plug tab and some little snips for the metal ring. They fit nice and snug, can’t wait to see them tonight.

Nice - how do you like it so far? I ordered one on friday and just got the same ram mount delivered yesterday. I got pretty fed up with not having a stable spot for my phone.

I'm in the same boat, ready to pull the trigger on a ram mount however I'm wondering how the visibility is with a phone that high up on the dash.

That's where I mount mine, but most of the time my phone is riding sideways (I'm usually running the Torque Pro app). Mine is positioned where I can still see the clock under it, this makes it where the phone blocks the majority of the glare coming off of the hood scoop.

YMMV based upon seat position and driver height (I'm 6'2" and my seat is almost all the way down).

Gave her a wash then a drive this weekend, nothing too serious.

Today finally installed my Diff Breather Kit. Went with the drivers side, down along the inner fender, next to the rubber engine guard, along the top of the frame and then followed the gas/electrical to the back. Not bad, but not without a few curse words.

Bummed to see some paint flake off as I was initially cleaning around the original valve. Have been using Woolwax/Fluid Film for years with good results though.

What brand is that? Nice how it flips up! I like to keep mine on the back for a "step" to help my Doberman get in the back, along with a cooler or cargo holder. The flip up would come in handy for the in between times when not in use.

I love it! Was in the same boat and needed something to hold my phone. Could have just secured the RAM mount on the dash itself but I will be mounting other things as well.

It does obstruct my view a little on the right, but doesn't bother me too much personally.

it wasn't just today but over the past few week, while fedex delivered some stuff.

It all started with a C4Fab ladder...

Next was C4Fab sliders. I painted them Matte Black and used Bedliner on the steps.

and lastly, I went to Big Bear this Labor Day weekend. I went on my first off-road trail (Skyline Drive - 2N10) at night, I (briefly) towed a jetski, and I rode on and drove a 25" boat. No pics of the trail, only the aftermath.

I just drilled a small hole into the center plastic dash so that it mounts lower and into the perfect location IMO. Perfect visibility

This is a Hyper Tough cargo carrier. I think it’s the same thing as the Curt 18153 ( I may have numbers wrong). 500lb capacity, foldable. Doesn’t rattle at all. Lightweight so no noticeable impact on driving. Was simple as dirt to put together.

I got this so when I go fishing the box can be outside the 4runner. Gets wet easily and I don’t want no fish water splashing around inside lol. I wasn’t too keen on putting the bucket on the roof rack. [emoji23]

I installed the CTH LED turn signal side mirrors over the weekend. I used t-tap connectors for the wiring and it made the install very easy. The LED signals are really cool but I'm even more impressed with the blind spot reduction.

today I get to weep silently (with envy) as my coworker replaced her Jeep Liberty with a 2020 TRD Pro, with the silver wheels I want for my 2011 Limited, as she parks next to me every day. I'm glad she took my general advice in getting a 4Runner though.

Tested my new car mattress. Totally rules.

Now it’s time to build a little platform to level out due to the 3rd row seating.

Need 5 1/2 min. Should be a fun project. Maybe drawers maybe just open storage for stowing folding chairs and tables.

We reserved, but it looks like you can try your luck, show up and wait for one of the first come, first serve sites. We got super lucky because we were able to reserve a campground 2 days before arriving. I think someone cancelled theirs.

They are pay sites and it came out to $78 for two days (expensive IMO, but it’s a beautiful place). It gets pretty windy towards the afternoon, so bring some warm clothes. A fire pit and picnic table are provided. There are chemical toilets available and surprisingly clean.

I believe showers were available, but they were closed. I had to improvise for the wife since I didn’t want to buy a Waterport. I used a weed sprayer and a privacy tent to create a makeshift shower for her. She loved it.

Sorry for the long winded response. It’s a great place and we want to head back next year.

My wife has been wanting to drive on the beach sand and camp on the beach. This place looks perfect!

Oh, they are super handy. I got one of the giant Action Packer Totes which holds a ton of gear, and can get a cooler next to it and strap and roll out. Worth every penny. ~ DAB

Pushed the truck pretty hard today going on a new trail. Had some very steep and rocky sections. They were also pretty narrow as well. Sliders kept me from bumping into a small tree.

Trail damage today: front skid took some hits, sliders took a few bigger hits, factory gas tank skid now has some dents, got some rock rash on 2 of my 4 rims, and my rear bumper cover is a bit scratched up now haha. Super fun day out there!
