I was so paranoid I'd be pulling it out all cool like, then at full extension it would just tip right out to the ground.

New 4Runner Emblems on 2021

Loving my 2021 Silver Premium but the vast landscape of silver needed something (thinking racing stripe but....). And I realized I was so used to the SR5 4WD on my previous 4th gens. Bought some 4Runner emblems from a great eBay seller.

Finally finished my sleeping platform build. The two inserts are independent, so I can take out the driver's side and run a 3rd seat if I need to.

I don't know. I made my own because I wanted some specific things.

If you read the entire set of posts, you will see people that have a fridge slide out with just 2 of the 4 spots I used and they work fine. With the 4 mounting locations I used it is rock solid. I'd have no concerns with a slide out.

I see.. I did a very similar thing to you but with an aluminum plate and a thin steel tube substructure. I made a contoured trim piece for the back edge, just haven't welded it on yet.

I don't know. I made my own because I wanted some specific things.

Took advantage of the 50* day in NE and installed the CALI RAISED rock sliders. What would have been a 2 hour job turned into a 4 hour one because the frame threads were rusted from so many winters. I ended up having to chase the threads and tapping them to clean it up before installing. Needless to say a few bolts were leftover, whoops.

Kick out with bedliner toplate. overall happy to finally get these suckers on.

Spent $1000 fixing a squeak in my OME BP51 shocks

After 40,000km the hemispherical bearings seized. No way to service or clean. $200 in parts, 4 hours labour + alignment.

fluid filmed inside doors and door seams/edges

for anyone that has done this before, for the edges of the doors/seams, I used the aerosol can and sprayed the film on the edges then used a small paint brush to smooth it out and get all the nooks and crannies so it wasn't just globbed on there. I assume this is fine because you can apply with a roller or brush? I let it sit for about a minute before using the brush to help it soak in the seams as well

used the little plastic tube it came with and put it through the drain holes on the bottoms of the doors to get the inside edges as well and ran dragged the tube along the inside edge as best I could

Had a local exhaust shop cut out the stock muffler and installed a Flowmaster 40 series. Sounds so much better and virtually no drone at highway speeds.

Finally got rid of the chrome tail lights. I didn't realize how much I hated them until I saw the black ones from USR and picked up a set on here. Much improved! Ordered some LED reverse light and license plate bulbs as well.

Also, 60 and sunny in NJ to a couple inches of snow 12 hours later. Was nice to get to wash it on Saturday, but had to drive it yesterday and it got dirty again. Oh well. Also highly recommend Chemical Guys leather cleaner and conditioner spray if you have Softex. Cleaned up some mud stains from a duck hunt trip last month and the seats looks amazing.

Installed lift kit, Camburg UCA's, 285/70/17 AT3W's, and got an alignment. A full 3" gain up front over the stock TRD Pro suspension height. 5.3 degrees of caster, it tracks nice on the highway. It's level now, but I'm hoping the front settles a bit, I prefer a bit of rake. No rubbing. No squat when I had it loaded up with the bikes and gear yesterday.

Didn't need anything more aggressive than 4H and it performed like a champ. I do need to think about upgrading my skids as some of those scrub brushes are pretty tough.
