I drove my 5th Gen down I95 during pretty severe rainstorms. Handled and drove through like a champ. No issues, no hydroplaning.
Traffic and Mobile Home being moved down the highway slowed us down a few times.
But, only one rock chip on windshield and few on hood, even with bug deflector.

Ordered N Fabs for the Limited too.

Thanks, yeah I'm so stoked to have found it. It sat on the dealer lot for a couple months, I kept it on my radar, and when I was ready to buy, the Inferno unicorn was still there. I know these were limited, but I did not know there were only 500 made!

You just had to ask the question of the hour haha! MSRP back in 2015 was $43Kish. Let's just say I paid a bit more than MSRP but less than $48K. Some may say that I'm smoking too much west coast kine, that I overpaid, but I don't think so. I looked at the comps on Autotrader, and at that time there were only 4 of them for sale. This was THE lowest mileage, cleanest, stock Inferno Pro in the country. West coast rig, full service history, and feels/drives as tight as my 2020 Army Green Pro (bought for MSRP and sold that one for $8K over in Feb 2022 after putting 20K miles on it). Inferno is my favorite TRD Pro color and love the fact, that like Quicksand, they are the only TRD Pro exclusive colors in terms of the 4Runner line-up for their respective years, and not offered beyond their respective years. You probably know that Pro pricing out here is bonkers - one of the local stealerships has a 21 Lunar Rock Pro w/ 11K miles on it and asking just under $76K. They also just sold one w/ 1500 miles for $78K. That's just par for course here in WA, OR, and also down in CA.

In the early days Toyota published its manufacturing numbers. They said they made 500 Infernos in 2015 and 3600 TRD Pros (in 3 colors) in 2016 (Quicksand) and 2017 (Cement). They went silent after that.

3600 / 3 colors if made in even amounts = 1200 Quicksands & Cements.

Don't worry about the price you paid so long as you don't sell it anytime soon. You have a collectors item in the long term so I wouldn't make any fundamental changes that a collector-buyer couldn't undo. But of course do what you will, it's your car!

Thanks again for your insight about production numbers for our Pros. I plan on keeping this one for a long time. It was my dream spec 4Runner from the moment I saw that Toyota commercial back in 2015 w/ the three Inferno Pros blasting through the desert. Mods wise, I'm keeping it pretty simple - Icon Stage 2 suspension, 275/70/17 Falken Wildpeak AT3/W's on the stock wheels, Timbren bump stops, Westcott Designs sliders, and OEM LED headlights off a 22 TRD OR. Should be done by the end of the week. Will be sure to post some pics. Cheers!

I clayed bar both the 2017 4runner and 2017 Audi a few months ago. It was NEEDED!!! If I ran my hand along parts of the audi after a regular wash it was bumpy. The clay bar cleaned it up and it was simple to do. The audi does need a paint correction and more detailing.

i did clay/cut/polish/sealant a year ago on the toyota. it's definitely needing it again. the paint chips make it not as rewarding though lol

I have a ceramic coating coming in the mail. Going to coat my 66 vw. see how it holds up then maybe do the ford and toyota after.
