Today I was fantasizing about putting the new shoes on my 4R.

In a few weeks I'll have my lift on and the new treads! Just waiting for some free time and warmer weather. It's going to look so good!

Ordered this for Black Betty... Got in on Andres' March batch which ends on the 27th of March.

The batch ended yesterday and not the 27th, if there's a mistake on the dates please let me know and I will change it.
All emblems are being separated to take to the various shops for finish treatment, I'll keep everyone posted of the progress.

Booked my tinting appointment today, I had to sign off that I know 35% isn't legal in CA... whatever, I want that matching tint anyway.
Stupid California, smog and tint restrictions...

WOW whe I had my 4th gen done in Alabama. They would give me a receipt because I had the whole truck done and the front was 20%. They didn't want it tracked back to them.

1 yr later I got a ticket, but took the tint off to avoid the fine and court. Then went back and had 29% put on. no problems

I don't have that problem as I'm currently single but I could imagine. My ex girlfriend was understanding of my relationship with my truck. She thought it was quite comical.

After three years of blacked out emblems I made the switch back to original chrome. The emblems were black already when I bought it so this will take getting used to. The paint was chipping and it was showing wear so it was time to either re-paint or use plastidip or go new emblems. I was able to source a front emblem, will swap that soon.

tint, you probably would think different if your a cop and you walk up to a dark tint drivers side in the dark and they roll down the window with a gun pointing at you.

Yes, I acknowledge that is a problem. I would never go super dark (5%), however I did want some privacy and sun protection. I drove my previous ride (originally from Texas) with 15% all around for 8 years in CA, and even being pulled over for other issues, the tint wasn't an issue. This is just my personal experience and opinion.

Too bad some people bad choices have to spoil it for the rest of us.
