Initially a fair amount of rubbing, but the dealer was kind enough to do the fender liner mod to make some room in front and remove the mini mudflaps (after my suggestion).

Looks like your trip is going well, stay dry and post more pics!

Great to see those tires on a 4R. Not as aggressive looking as I would have thought, but the tread pattern looks killer for wet or snowy road driving. Thanks for the pics!

Yep, did the flares and front valence. Still haven't done the rear... One of these days I'll get to it.
Yeah it was pretty ridiculous to look at. He was probably just past half way up and was trying to pass another car. It was hard to tell so I got out the telephoto on my Nikon and zoomed in as much as I could. There were tons of other cars waiting at a turn out just above that. Honestly I was surprised at the cars I saw on that road. For as dangerous as it is, I saw a big conversion van, a crossover and other stock SUVs. Followed by a ton of lifted jeeps.

It's going great! We did part of the Alpine Loop up to California Pass then over down Corkscrew Gulch on Tuesday. I took my mom along for that, HUGE MISTAKE lol....
I've taken a ton of pics on my SLR and GoPros. The internet at the house we are at is pretty terrible though so I haven't posted much. That shot was with my phone, but I got several others with the SLR at the peak.
Yeah that was probably me! We stop there on the way up Saturday and got some lunch. Pretty cool down. We may stop by on the way home again this weekend.

No more dangerous than other trails in the area, not difficult at all either, a stock 4runner would have no problem. It's got to be the most over-hyped trail on the planet. Traffic is 2 way up to the falls.
