So I got back a good chunk of cash back from the Feds yesterday, decided it would be a good time to finally piece together my suspension setup.

Just purchased Bilstein 5100s for all 4 and OME 884 front coils from TotalAutomotivePerformance, got a pretty sweet deal :becky:

Next purchase will be SAW 1.5" Rear coils and Camburg MOOG BJ UCAs.

I also bought a set of BFG K02s a few weeks back, they have just been laying around until I decide what wheels to mount them on now... such a hard decision!

But once i have all the parts together, everything will go on at once. Its going to be a HUGE change to the T4R.:reddance:


I really need to stay away from this forum for a while! I can't help but get more ideas:redbrick:

I got a ticket for improper display of license plate when I had mine in the front window. That being said.... look up the state regulations for fastening the plate. In some states, if there is no way to fasten the plate (by way of a mount) you can get away with not fastening it. But I'd carry the regulation in the glove box to avoid a ticket.

Ya know, I really really like my 4Runner. I've got well over 80k with no real issues. That said...

Recently I transferred to a new job that has an hour commute each way so I have been using (yeah right) the cruise control daily for the first time.

The dude that programmed the cruise control can blow me, that's how bad it is.

Hardly ever used it until I drove to the east coast, I get better gas mileage without it. Go figure...
