Wash Long Overdue

After mowing the lawn and cleaning out the pool I finally got to using the Optimum No Rinse Wash & Wax I ordered. Best $20 spent, took 45 minutes to get a truly detailed look. I will never go back to washing any other way, cleaned all of the grime, worked on the tires and no water spots, which I found is a miracle down here in South Florida.

Washed it, since the daughter has strep and therefore a pre-super bowl ski morning wasn't feasible. Also did both the [MENTION=65614]Antman[/MENTION] rear bumper cup holder mod, and the [MENTION=93894]J-BlickPhoto[/MENTION] daisy chain across the rear cargo area ceiling mod -- both will be very useful during camping/fishing adventures yet to come.

Had the vehicle a little over a week and have benefitted tremendously from the advice and knowledge banked at this forum (coming from other car forums, I actually know how to use the search function) -- many thanks to all of those who have posted such great information over the years!

Explored the Rolls area, East Side

Went exploring to the far East side of Rolls area North of Saguaro Lake, out to Cane Springs, end of the road, pretty rough road so didn't get to hike too long, wanted to go to Skeleton Cave but not enough time, some tough sections, used the lockers and lots of desert pinstripes. Working on some video.

Finally got around to installing the used Yakima LoadWarrior w/ extension basket I got off Craigslist for $300. Needed some sanding, and painting, and a new fairing. I've been hoarding some stickers so I did the fairing up.

Mounted to OEM cross rails.

I like it so much. I like the color combo too, than the black. My 3rd bike rack and i think this is the best one.

You're lucky it is covered by the warranty. Mine came out of pocket, big kick in the nuts. I hope that fixes the leak. I'm taking mine back in in a few hundred miles to get it rechecked.

I'm really glad I went with that extended warranty.

I think I'm more annoyed about the lock actuator though. Every one on my '06 went out too. You think they would have fixed the issue by now.

they look primed, maybe try anthracite gray PD if you're going for a darker/charcoal gray color?

Got some 275 KO2s put on this morning. Love the new look and will feel much better in snow/ice/trail conditions now. No pics until I can wash the darn thing and get the lift installed.
