Unfortunately time works against me, so i think i will just install them, then take them off and paint.

They are bare steel right? You don't wanna take em out like that :nono: At least you should get a couple of coats primer on them so they don't get all rusty. :boink:

Dave told me to put them on beat the shit out of them and then paint, but i guess you are right. How long does it take to install them, i'm thinking maybe i should sand them, prime them nd paint, nd maybe wake early and installl in am?

I replaced a blown out dash speaker just to find out it was the door speaker that was blown! :frusty:

Absolutely nothing, not painting, powder coating, no lift, leveling kits, did build a receiver hitch to hold my cooler and rod rack to the front on the truck.
changing out the dunlops to michelins in a couple of weeks, I like the polished look of the alloy wheels so they will remain stock.
The v-6 will pull my 23 pathfinder boat without any hesitation, and the mileage is a bit better than the old v-8. The seats are far better than the 08, more room and more adjustments.
Only beef is the placement of the locking and window switches, it sucks big time, would rather have them lower on the door like the 2008.
Would I return to the 2008 v-8 no way the 2013 TE is a really nice truck that loves the sand on the island beaches, I'm happy.....

Others would know better but would there really be any risk running them one day bare? If there is, I would think a light coating of primer would be more than enough.

Replaced the Yakima cross bars with OEM...screwed up my plasti dipped factory rack, have to fix that another day....

Just picked up a Thule Sonic L roof box in silver for the T4R at REI. Great price and I am real happy with how it attaches to the OEM cross bars. I am also pleased to report zero wind noise on the hwy (I was really concerned about wind noise). So now we are ready for a road trip.:car:
