Unfortunately time works against me, so i think i will just install them, then take them off and paint.

They are bare steel right? You don't wanna take em out like that :nono: At least you should get a couple of coats primer on them so they don't get all rusty. :boink:

Were you planning on painting or powder coating?
. no trouble here, just soaking up experience advises. I was thinking to do it myself in my garage.
I replaced a blown out dash speaker just to find out it was the door speaker that was blown! :frusty:
.... also wishing I was with the boys camping in PA! Hope you're having a blast!
Replaced the Yakima cross bars with OEM...
Quite a bit more low profile...exactly what I wanted.
