We going to my woman's third post op appointment and she says, this isn't the most comfortable rig to be riding in. (back and ab surgery, 30 some odd stitches). it's a tad bit better than my 78 F 250. The tires are at 32 psi and the air bags at ten.

Got really tired of rented Heeps and Side By Sides.

I guess, to some, it seems perfectly reasonable, when someone backs down a damn mountain (when they have the right of way) to let you by, that you stop and disembark all of your rented JEEPs and proceed to have a snowball fight.

To some, I guess it also seems reasonable, that the person with the right-of-way, coming up the pass, has to back down 3/4 mile of switch backs to find a pull off, after you pulled over in your rented side by side, leaving a generous 4.5 feet between your POS and a cliff of certain death, to say "Oh can't you get by?"

While I wanted to say "Here, let me pull over to the inside and watch your stupid asses tumble off the mountain to certain death, where you belong." I backed down switchbacks to let them by, then preceded to wait 25 minutes for the 3rd member of their group to arrive.

If I had any idea that they could have backed up a few feet into a huge overlook, we would all be hearing about a mass murder involving run over go carts in the Telluride area.

Just got back from a week in Tahoe. Some new markings on the truck, lots of mud and dirt/dust everywhere! Good thing I had armor is all I got to say about that. My muffler is now a bit more custom. :yo:

Preaching to the choir, only here it's quads, side by sides, and dirt bikes. Funny part is that dirt bikes and quads have about ten times more trails to use than the trucks do out here, yet they still ride the truck trails. Then they get mad when they can't get by us or they try to squeeze by almost hitting our trucks. Had so many of them kick rocks up at us as they go by it's ridiculous.

That sucks man. I was just down in the Telluride/Ouray area offroading and luckily didn't encounter anything like that but did see a guy in a newish Pathfinder drop his passenger side front wheel off the road leading up to Alta Lakes. His kid was not amused and cried for about 5 minutes.

Haha I know. Here are a few over the last few months. I'll have some better ones coming up. Doing a trip up to Cape Breton in a couple weeks and then a big road trip down the east coast in August as far as DC and maybe down into Virginia and OBX, North Carolina. Just haven't been anywhere exciting with the 4Runner yet!

I love it! I wouldn't have been able to do half the things without that clearance. Between that and the skids I would have been disabled up there. I hit big granite rocks a few times and got close enough coming off rock ledges that I know I would have done some serious damage to the stock bumper. That and lots of envy from other guys!
